Facebook and Instagram were repeatedly pressured to censor COVID-19 content

Coronavirus, Covid-19 Censorship

Facebook and Instagram owners Meta have finally admitted that their user’s Covid-19 content was censored by U.S. government officials.

“In 2021, senior officials from the Biden Administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content, including humor and satire, and expressed a lot of dissatisfaction with our teams when they didn’t agree”

Hmmm, let’s be quite clear here, shall we? COVID-19 CENSORSHIP IS STILL ONGOING. We see it on a DAILY BASIS, particularly in our interactions with social media, and in the Covid news reports we cover. Covid-19 is still very much a forbidden topic as far as mainstream and social media are concerned.

The incomprehensible censorship meted out during the current Covid-19 pandemic undoubtedly cost millions of lives, whilst tens of millions more are living with the seemingly unending consequences of infection through Long Covid. The disinformation campaign about the severity of Covid has left the majority of the U.S population in complete ignorance about how best to protect themselves from the disease.

Sadly, many millions more will die because of the lack of information about, and the downplaying of, the true consequences of infection. This ONGOING censorship will prove every bit as deadly as that seen during the earlier part of the pandemic.

Will those afflicted by Covid-19, or the relatives of those who perished because of it, ever see any recompense for these exceptionally malign interventions? Will any U.S. government officials face sanctions or prosecution for these most ignoble of acts?

We sincerely doubt it.
