Covid-19 incidence rate in Italy is 374 cases per 100,000 people

Italy is reporting a weekly incidence level of 374 Covid cases per 100,000 people

The weekly incidence of Covid-19 cases at national level is down to 374 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (20/10/2022 -26/1/2022) from 448 to every 100,000 inhabitants (14/10 / 2022 -20/10/2022).

In the period 5-18 October, the mean Rt calculated on symptomatic cases was equal to 1.11 (range 1.00-1.23), a decrease compared to the previous week (1.27) and higher than the threshold value.

The transmissibility index based on hospitalized cases decreases to 0.94 and is below the epidemic threshold.
