Coronavirus infection spreads at mink farms in Sweden
Coronavirus has been detected at a further three mink farms in southern Sweden, according to the National Veterinary Institute.
13 out of Sweden’s 40 farms are now affected, but the government says there is no need to shutdown the industry, with 80% of the animals currently being culled for pelting.
People in the vicinity of the farms are being tested for the virus, and Karl Ståhl at the National Veterinary Institute says they are in control of the situation.
