Finland announces three-week coronavirus lockdown effective March 8th 2021

Restaurants and bars will be closed from 8 to 28 March in regions with an unfavorable epidemiological situation. Senior grades of secondary school, as well as gymnasiums and vocational schools are transferred to distance learning for the same period. Yle News followed a government press conference.

The government announced a three-week lockdown from 8 March due to a worsening coronavirus outbreak.
