‘Dangerous cocktail’ threatens public health: Infection with a special mink mutation is rising sharply

The number of Danes affected by corona infection with the special mutations that originate from mink farms is approaching 2,700 and has contributed “significantly” to the spread of infection in Denmark, SSI estimates. At the same time, there is growing criticism of the government for reacting far too late to a serious health threat.
