A fourth dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine will be necessary in order to maintain manageable levels of hospitalizations and mild infections, CEO Albert Bourla said yesterday.
Bourla’s comments come just weeks after the CEO of Moderna also said that a fourth shot of their vaccine would be necessary, lining up millions of people for a fourth vaccination in less than two years:
“Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel said the efficacy of boosters against Covid-19 will likely decline over time, and some people may need a fourth shot by the fall.”
