Israel: Three cases of BA.2.75 found in passengers from France and India
Three cases of the BA.2.75 coronavirus variant have been found in Israel, the Health Ministry announced on Sunday. One of the patients had recently returned from India and the other two had returned from France.
With cases now being found across globe, it is very likely that there is community transmission of the variant in countries outside of India

Wow, first lab data for BA.2.75
While I'm not sure how transferrable this is to Europe/US since the vaccine sera used are whole inactivated vaccine (CoronaVac = Sinovac) instead of Spike mRNA vax, BA.2.75 could be foremost a Delta escape variant – as opposed to Omicron (BA.2) 1/ https://t.co/y0WQw6FcKy— Cornelius Roemer (@CorneliusRoemer) July 15, 2022
Sharing some preliminary results just obtained regarding the new Omicron variants BA.2.75. In short, BA.2.75 is more neutralization evasive than BA.2.12.1, but less compared to BA.4/5. BA.2.75 also exhibits higher ACE2 affinity than BA.4/5. (1/n) pic.twitter.com/4GBSFuinXO
