Malaysia: 18% vaccine breakthrough of cases in August 2021

About 17.8 per cent, or 68,629 of 385,542 new Covid-19 cases reported in Malaysia since August 12, were fully vaccinated.

The proportion of fully vaccinated people two weeks or longer after their second jab in two-dose regimens, or breakthrough infections, among total coronavirus cases rose from 12.6 per cent on August 12 to 23.9 per cent yesterday, 29th August 2021.
