A third wave in Milan, Italy – the highest coronavirus infection rate is in the age group 15-19 years
In the last week of February 2021, the highest incidence of coronavirus infection (258 cases out of 100 thousand) is in the age group of high school children: 15-19 years. The incidence on very small children (0-4 years) is much lower. There is a sharp decrease in the incidence of those over 80, who are struggling with vaccination
In April, the peak of intensive care was 250 hospitalized patients. Then flat calm in summer, while between November and December 2020 it reaches 300. And now? The curve is starting to rise again. But who ends up in intensive care? Mostly over 65, but even between the ages of 50 and 65, the numbers are growing.
