Italy’s Piedmont region has lifted a blanket ban on the AstraZeneca vaccine and instead limited the ban to the batch used to inoculate a man who later died. The northern region at first blocked all further use of the Astrazeneca vaccine while it established which batch was involved in the death of the man, a 58-year-old teacher [Sandro Tognatti].  It then limited the moratorium to the batch from which he was vaccinated, number ABV5811.
