“She died yesterday… She received all the intensive care we could provide at Rikshospitalet,” chief physician Trine Kåsine at Oslo University Hospital said on Monday.

The woman was among the three health workers who were recently admitted to Rikshospitalet due to complications related to blood clots that have occurred after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine. All three are allegedly relatively young. The deceased woman was under 50 years of age.

Norway stopped using the AstraZeneca vaccines on Thursday after reports from Denmark and other countries about possible side effects in the form of blood clots.
