Netherlands: 3 week Covid lockdown announced
In the Netherlands, a “mild” 3 week lockdown is announced. Restaurants, cafes and supermarkets must close their doors at 8 p.m. for the next three weeks, non-essential shops as early as 6 p.m. There will also be advice to limit visits at home and everyone should work from home as much as possible.
The measures will come into effect on Saturday 13th November 2021 at 6 p.m, and they will last at least three weeks.
The Dutch lockdown comes as the Netherlands edges closer to breaking its all-time pandemic record for new Covid cases.
