“When the countries around us are now hit by a fourth wave, Sweden can get away with it more easily – thanks to our different strategy”. That is the opinion of researchers. Uno Wennergren, professor of theoretical biology, is one of those who do not believe in a higher spread of infection. “Our high death rates benefit us now,” he says.
