UK ZOE Covid app shows 1,096,370 are currently symptomatic – a record high for the pandemic

1,096,370 people are currently symptomatic for Covid-19 in the UK. Despite an 85% Covid vaccination rate, the UK ZOE Covid app is showing that Britain has today recorded its highest ever number of symptomatic Covid cases for the entire pandemic.

The previous record was set on January 11th 2021 with 1,056,660 cases.

 

 

The daily new Covid-19 case rate is also at a pandemic high, with 86,981 new cases reported on the 23rd October 2021.
